No timetables, tickets or set stops. Mikrolets are owner-operated mini-vans that move people around Dili for just 25 cents per ride, and you can flag them down anywhere along their route.

There’s no need for fancy apps or schedules: just wave one down and hop in. Like a rainbow on wheels, each route shows off its own colour and number (route #01 is a fiery red, #02 a fresh green, and so on up to 13!). You’re part of Dili’s daily hustle, even if you are still figuring out the map.

Don’t complain. Even mikrolets need a break. After all, how else are they supposed to keep up with Dili’s hustle and your adventurous spirit?
